Building on the “Discovery” offering (see details above), this service layers on an exploration of your personal garden style, including creating a vision for the overall look you would like to achieve and understanding what plants and approaches might help you achieve that look.

My design service results in a comprehensive, custom plan for your garden (or border or landscape depending on scope), including a hand drawn diagram of the final design, a custom planting list designed to meet your life and maintenance requirements for four-season interest, and a bloom calendar that designates what combination of plants will be present at what times of the year. The plan and information provided will be sufficiently detailed such that if you choose to implement it yourself, you would have a clear roadmap to work from.

Deliverables include:

• Detailed site measurement

• Custom, hand-drawn garden design diagram (to scale) 

• Custom  4-season planting list 

• 4-season bloom calendar 

• Estimated costs for implementation

For customers of my consultation and design services, I will fully implement your garden (or border or landscape–again depending on scope) design on site, including: 

• Soil conditioning

• Plant sourcing and purchasing

• Planting

• Project management (Note: Most hardscaping will be outsourced to trusted providers)

Ongoing Maintenance

This service is only available to customers of the Implementation service. To keep your garden healthy and looking its best, we will work together to identify a schedule for regular and/or seasonal maintenance, including pruning, deadheading, and soil augmentation (+ excluding lawn care and arborist services).

Seasonal Displays

I can create custom displays of plants and flowers appropriate for the season (for residential or retail spaces). This could include larger planters or be a broader effort, such as dressing a feature space (like a porch) for the season or a special event.
